Python is an interpreted, general-purpose high-level programming language whose design philosophy emphasizes code readability. Python supports a short time-to-market philosophy that blends perfectly with Matisse 8 unique Object and SQL capabilities. Projects combining the use Python and Matisse see immediate gains in productivity and lower maintenance costs.
The tight integration between Python and Matisse has proven to reduce application complexity with direct object-to-object mapping without compromising the expressiveness and dynamic type system of the Python language.

Matisse 8.4 supports the popular platforms with Windows, Linux, Java and .NET frameworks, SQL and XML standards, and a broad range of language bindings including Java, C++, C, C#, VB.NET, Python, Perl, PHP and Eiffel. Most language bindings are published as open source software.
